Alt Codes

Section 1 – Alt codes 

Now…. I don’t know if Alt codes are against the rules in RuneScape… But they sure are easy to do! Here are some that can be used on RuneScape (These Alt codes came from the character map software) The way to do Alt codes is to hold down the Alt on the left of your keyboard. (On the left of the spacebar.) then use the number pad on the right NOT THE ONES ABOVE THE LETTERS THEY WONT WORK. If you dont get it look at this picture it is marked 1st and 2nd, 1st means what you should do first 2nd is what to do after.

PS: Charater map software comes standerd on all windows xp and i think vista computers, to find it goto start, all programs, find accsories, then Windows System Tools, then character map. Or use the program search on the start menu. Character map show you all the basic characters/letters/symbols/keys that you have access to on your keyboard, when you click on a charcter on the bottom right corner of the window it says it Alt code (Not all charcters have Alt codes). And what it’s called.

Pilcrow sign – ¶ – Alt + 0182

Yen Sign – ¥ – Alt + 0165

Currency sign – ¤ – Alt + 0164

Registered sign – ® – Alt + 0174 

Upside down question mark – ¿ – Alt + 0191

Copyright sign – © – Alt + 0169

 Thorn – þ – Alt + 0254

Capital thorn – Þ – Alt + 0222

Section sign – § – 21 or 0167
